I started HerShield Essentials because I know what it feels like to move through the world with a little bit of fear in the back of your mind. Whether it’s walking to your car at night, travelling alone, or simply wanting the people you love to be safe, that feeling stays with you. I wanted something small, simple, and reliable that could offer real peace of mind — not just for me, but for anyone who’s ever wished they felt a little more protected.

What began as a personal search for safety quickly turned into a mission. I realised how many people felt the same way I did, yet didn’t know where to start or what was actually legal to carry in Australia. So I created a safety keychain that wasn’t bulky, intimidating, or complicated — just practical tools that could genuinely help in an emergency. A 180 dB alarm, a whistle, a window breaker, a seatbelt cutter — essentials that fit in your hand but can make a life‑saving difference.
